Storage pilot at EnergyStock

Gasunie will engineer and construct a H2 storage facility in the salt dome at Zuidwending, adjacent to the current EnergyStock facilities. HEAVENN partner Nobian uses the salt for their chemical process, the salt is transported by HEAVENN-partner Lenten Scheepvaart with their H2 barge boat Antonie. The size of the H2 cavern will initially suite to the H2V requirements
but construction decisions will be based on allowing scale-up to a fully-fledged H2 storage cavern e.g. up to 235 GWh or 6000 tonnes storage capacity.
