Infrastructure Chemical Park Delfzijl

Groningen Seaports operates an industrial H2 pipeline ‘ring’ system feeding output from the Nobian chlor-alkali facility to existing industrial customers. Novel polymer-based pipeline materials already developed by Groningen Seaports will be tested under real operating conditions to fully assess technical and commercial suitability for deployment.

Furthermore, Groningen Seaports will install and test a connection within the existing H2 pipeline infrastructure at CPD, in consultation with the industrial and competent certifying bodies.

By doing so, Groningen Seaports facilitates a connection between between HyCC  and BioMCN on the Chemical Park Delfzijl and the H2 connection between Nobian and the HRS of TotalEnergies
