GETEC PARK.EMMEN

The Emmen Industrial park is operated by the HEAVENN project partner Emmtec. They provide utilities to the companies based on the park. This includes steam and power generation for industrial processing and heating. To facilitate the change to sustainable manufacturing within the park, EMM will retrofit its two 28MW GTs that supply heat & power to the Emmtec Park, to run on a NG/H2 blend, to provide heat and power to to the industry and business park. Starting the blending from 3% (vol) and operation on one single GT, the percentage of H2 and thus total volumetric flow of H2 will gradually be increased over time and eventuelly admixed to both turbines upon sucesful results of the initial tests in real-operational environment, starting.
